GREVEO implemented a project titled “Her Education Matters” to promote menstrual hygiene management among learners at Njenga Primary School in Salima district.
The initiative trained and empowered local women with sewing machines to produce locally made reusable sanitary pads for school girls, improving access to affordable menstrual hygiene products while also creating livelihood opportunities. Through this intervention, the project helps ensure that girls can attend school consistently and with dignity, even during their menstrual cycles.
